Cher does Vanity Fair (video included!)

So I know I might have gone a bit Cher crazy of late, so may this be my last Cher post... of the week. Am I a bit slow on the magazine front here? I've only just discovered that she's on the cover of Vanity Fair magazine's December issue (above), and I've only just seen this video - a sneak peek at behind the scenes of the shoot... ENJOY MY LOVELY CHER FANS!

The Peacock's Shine

Lovely reader, meet a few of Falguni and Shane Peacock's spring summer 2011 creations. Believe it or not this new collection is inspired by animals facing extinction, in particular bees and tigers. Now then, even though I am totally enamored by the dresses - their intricacies really are fabulous - I'm not quite sure how the inspiration fits in! I think if you look closely though, the prints may reveal all.

Party dresses, revealed...

Well party season is almost upon us ladies and gents, so in a first of a series of party outfit posts, here is Natalie Hartley's, Instyle's senior fashion editor, top 5 party frocks! You really should take note of what this lady says - she lives and breathes uber-coolness!

Cher goes short AGAIN for her Hollywood Star moment...

Oh Cher. You didn't listen to me did you? After all my good advice, you still went ahead AGAIN and pulled on another short, in fact TOO short, dress for your Hollywood star moment.

There are a few things I couldn't believe from this story: firstly that Cher is only JUST, after all her commitment (it's got to be 100 years at least?), record sales and sheer brilliance, being awarded LA's highest accolade of foot and hand prints on the walk of fame. Secondly, that she has gone all Madonna yet again - mutton/lamb - with another horrid short frock (in fact, there was a slight glimpse of knickers - NOT OK!). Thirdly that I never knew a) that her mum was even alive and b) how fabulous she was. And fourthly that Cher's thunder was stolen by a bus full of the Chilean miners celebrating passing by. Poor Cher!

Spring at Vivienne Westwood

There's always so much to look at in the Vivienne Westwood offices, especially when it comes to spring summer! Obviously it's mecca for me, and obviously I could literally stay there all day, but fear of getting dirty looks and being thrown out by the people working there, I thought it best to act normal, not too obsessive, take my pictures and then be on my merry little way. Little did they know I was dying inside of shear excitement to be intimate with the spring summer 2011 collection.
