BLOW me down!

The amazing Craig Lawrence hangers!

How many sexual innuendos do you think you can come up with with the name of my favourite PR company BLOW?? I thought the title of this post was just before the line or pure crassness. I could have called it 'Give me a BLOW' or 'What a BLOW job!', but I didn't. I refrained. I love the company too much. I think I did well.

But so as not to take anything away from the company, let's move past the name and onto some of their fascinating brands.

I took Dhillon down to see my lovely friend Ash at the BLOW showroom today. Ash loved Dhillon, Dhillon loved the clothes (to chew on, but we won't tell Ash that!). And me... I'm constantly in awe of everything they do. All their clients are hugely individual and all have a particular niche. You won't find any high street brands here. Oh no sir. Only off-the-wall, completely unique, overly amaze designers.

Take a look at what I found. I'm going to go back soon to take more pics, I could spend all day in there, so stay tuned!

First we have Qasimi who are actually showing in Paris next week. Their stuff is uber-luxurious. I love the ostentatiousness of these shirts. The pearl detail is to die for! Check out their collection at www.qasimi.com

Next we have one of my favourite Central Saint Martin graduates, Fam Irvoll. She takes fashion 3D and super colourful with her cartoony ideas and designs. Gaga's a fan, and so am I! Check it out - www.famirvoll.com/

Lastly, for this session, is Belle Sauvage whose pieces for autumn winter embody all things 80s, so obviously I was instantly attracted. The prints on these garments are UNREAL. Look... colourful, bright with hidden meaning. Love it so much. See more here www.belle-sauvage.co.uk/

Umb-er-ella ella ella A A A A

Rooting through the Blow PR clients, I stumbled across London Undercover. Now, as you are all aware, London is very much undercover at the moment. God, or whoever you believe in/is up there, is being VERY unkind to us mere mortals on the ground with really BAD weather.

April showers are no longer confined to said month. Now they extend to May, June sometimes even July! You have to prepare yourself, dear readers. And, in true Very Simon G style, why not go all out with one of these AMAZE umbrellas?

You'll definitely be noticed, and it stops all the really ugly, massive rain protectors bobbing up and down Oxford Street when the heavens open. Is it just me who's bored of seeing unsightly coloured umbrellas?

I, for one, wont mind at all being poked in the eye by one of these lovelies!

Rain, I'm ready for ya! I'm armed and ready with a fashion-fabulous brolly!

What's In Your Man Bag?

If you know Blow PR, you'll know they are synonymous with a show-stopping label or 12! Leaders in the industry for supporting and representing emerging fashion talent, already established off-the-wall designers and fantabulous accessory labels, they are one of my favourite PR companies. How lucky, you may think then, that I have a friend who works over in the Blow offices. Ash.

Here's what he carries in his man bag. Gotta love him, three packs of fags, his touche eclat and backstage passes...can you get any more fashion?

Have a look at their websites, www.blow.co.uk and www.blowpresents.wordpress.com. You'll be tres impressed.

And here's the contents, as said in one breathe by Ash:

"It’s got a disposable camera, keys, backstage passes (I kid you not), a walky-talky, YSL touche eclat, tan intensifying aftersun lotion, Garnier under eye caffeine roller ball thing, blackberry, wallet, Rayban wayfarers in black, a passport and 3 packets of Lambert & Butler silver from Lanzarote".
