A right Royal head scarf - the Queen disemabarks from her cruise...

SCRABSTER, SCOTLAND - AUGUST 02: Queen Elizabeth II disembarks the Hebridean Princess with other members of the Royal Family in Scrabster Harbour on August 2, 2010 in Scrabster, Scotland. The Queen and Duke of Edinburgh along with the royal family have been on a ten day cruise to celebrate the 60th birthday of The Princess Royal next month and the 50th birthday of The Duke of York earlier this year. On her return from a lovely little cruise around the Western Isles in Scrabster Harbour today (a celebratory trip for the Princess Royal, Princess Anne's 60th and Prince Andrew's 50th - reported to have cost £300,000 with a security bill as much as £1 million [source Daily Mail]) the Queen sported a rather lovely floral head scarf. Always one for covering her perfectly coiffed do when walking, the Queen's scarf collection really does rival anyone's. It might look a bit old lady, but isn't that the stuff that fashionistas around the globe...well on these shores anyway, are constantly talking about? Vintage this and granny-chic that.

Plus sun flowers are THE flower at the moment. I spotted some in my friends house yesterday and they really do light up a room. They do the same on a piece of clothing or printed on accessories, wouldn't you say? In fact any floral print is a hit at the moment.

I think it's time to copy the Queen. Pull out your vintage scarves everyone, the wind seems to be changing!

Leona Lewis goes to Perez Hilton's circus

In true Hollywood blogger style, Perez Hilton invited his little black book of A-listers to celebrate his 32nd birthday including brits Mel B and Leona Lewis along with Katy Perry, Lindsay Lohan and sweet little Justin Beiber (does anyone else think he has fab fashion sense? Or just me?). Hilton held his circus themed bash at the Paramount Studios in LA. Hang on... an A list blogger, an A list birthday guest list, and an A list MASSIVE venue for said birthday - when oh when is this going to happen to me please?

Bless Leona Lewis. She's actually gone super futuristic in her fashion choices of late - we've seen her in a couple of metallic William Tempest gowns - a far cry from her usual slightly 'safe' style of dressing. And now this... circus Leona. I like it! It shows she does actually know how to have a teeny bit of fun. Her voice is undeniably fantastic, her sense of humour is not so much, but are we starting to see a different side to the Mariah Carey of the UK through her dressing up box? I hope so!

Katy Perry embraced the theme completely in this fierce little red number that plunged almost down to her belly button. Me thinks Russell probably liked this outfit rather a lot! Eve looked the best she has done for a while, in my opinion anyway. I LOVED her new weave just as much as her new dress - silver is SUCH a good colour on her as is body con and one shouldered. And poor old Lindsay... she looked a bit of a hot mess once again. The tacky blue dress and the tacky fake hair along with the pasty white legs - not such a good look!
The party looked fab! It's mine in two weeks. Let's see if I can do one better than Perez. I'll book the table at McDonalds now shall I??
