Bless us English... some rain and we just don't know what to do with ourselves! I watched, shocked, out of my office window as the traffic backed up at an extraordinary quick pace after the down pour the other day. People panic, their breaks go on, the rain continues, more break lights = birth to a mile long traffic jam! I also remember when we had that freak heat wave one summer that our pavements where melting! And when we had the snow/ice attack we all completely freaked out and came to a stand still. It seems to me we are just not equiped, or ready, for the weather that now unfortunately is! Where as our American and Canadian counterparts are - New York heats up and the air con is switched on, Canada freezes and the thermostats are turned up.
We love a drama!
