So we all know that music and fashion are inextricably linked, there's been a tie between the two mega-industries for decades now. Most memorable for me, amongst the other greats, is Boy George and David Bowie. Gaga has done it most recently, and now Miss Paloma Faith is trying her hand at it as she is named the new face for the River Island Design Forum... and I have the exclusive evidence! Take a look at the pics below (and above).From the moment she hit the scene, her fashion choices have been remarked upon, sparked criticism and had welcomed praise. I met her at the Elle Style Awards and she donned a hat with metres of polka dot material attached to it. Fabulous.
Paloma's love for mixing high fashion with high street must-haves has been reported in the past, and now she dives head first in supporting both excellent new talent and one of the British high street's giants. River Island's motto 'love fashion, live music' is very much the headline for this interesting collaboration.
The new range, shown in the exclusive pics below, goes live online and hits store on 20th May.
