Cher and Cher alike...

As you probably know I'm so overly loyal and protective with my Divas. After typing Cher's name into www.lastfm.com, I was inspired to hunt down some pictures of her to show off to you guys. She really IS, and I mean this with so much respect and good intention, the true cockroach of the music industry. OBVIOUSLY you know what I mean... she's a survivor, a fighter and someone who's not crushed by any negative press or comments or annoying paps fighting over each other to get a snap of her.

For a woman of (said age of) 64, she hasn't done badly. Thanks to her pionerring efforts in plastic surgery, she's barely reached puberty. Hitting the scene in her late teens with her 'other half' Sonny, she reached success with their song 'I Got You Babe' in 1965. She's gone on to win an Academy Award, a Grammy, an Emmy and three Golden Globes.

Cher has sold over 100 million records worldwide. Her 'Farewell Tour', which seemed to last 100 years, was the second most successful tour by a female artist. She's got more wigs than RuPaul and Dolly put together, in fact my spies tell me that she has a separate plane, which is temperature controlled, JUST for her hair! She clearly doesn't care what people think of what she wears which is why I love her most (apart from her music, obvs!).

Have a look at these and tell me you don't think she was gorgeous when she was younger! The first picture is my favourite; Sonny, Cher and Twiggy!

Enjoy.
