Something for the men...

Always on the hunt for some lovely menswear finds, I think I've found two very accessible brands for all ya fashion-y fellas, for next spring summer anyway. I know it's getting progressively cold of a morning and an evening now, but in fashion time, we are on spring summer 2011 already. But don't despair. Look what I've got to show you...

If it's inexpensive stylish wardrobe filler pieces you're after, head straight down to a Republic store, and look for, specifically, the brand Crafted. Usually reserved for a big shopping centre (I know there is a fancy one in Westfield), you'll find some great little items. Come the spring months, be prepared for some comfortable and trendy relaxed-feel pieces (below), more harem shapes and even the odd Westwood inspired side-button fly (so that's I like everything so much!). Find also some fab denim pieces and a few vintage-inspired shirts and prints (paisley, mmmm).

The other brand that, although is not really my style, is super hot is Gant - the all American company that offers the best in preppy-chic. I say not my style because I don't really do the High School Musical, check shirt and tight tee thing, but if I did... Gant would be my go-to store, let me tell you! I did, however, fall completely in love with all the amazing jackets and blazers I spotted in their press showroom for next spring summer.

If you want a quick injection of colour, take a look below. What really struck me was the fab styling on the mannequins; darker jackets with bright trousers and a glimpse of a colourful check or fun t shirt underneath. As prep goes... this seems to be the Holy Grail.

I also spotted this wall dedicated to the 'broken-in Chino' - something that Gant has become synonymous with. Take a read, it really is a sweet story...
